Q. What process is involved in having a garment designed and made?
A. First the client will come for a consultation, where styles, colours and fabrics will be discussed. Then a design will be produced and if the client wishes to go ahead with an order, a deposit will be paid. The client will be asked to come for a series of fittings (usually around 3) until the finished garment is complete. A sample dress in calico will be made first to ensure the design and fit is perfect. Once the final garment is completed the remaining balance will be paid.
Q. How long does the process take?
A. Normally I ask for at least 3 months for a complete evening outfit. For a bridal gown, I require at least 4 months. However this is sometimes negotiable depending on my work load.
Q. How much will my garment cost?
A. All prices are on application. Please ring or email for more information on specific designs. Prices for complete outfits start from £350.00.
Q. Do you just produce bridal and evening wear?
A. I do specialize in evening/occasion and bridal wear, and also stage and dance wear. I am able to produce any style of garment around my clients needs. Please do not hesitate to contact me regarding a specific design.
