Firstly, we here at Angel Couture, hope all of you are safe and well during these unfortunate and unpredictable times. We want to thank all of our clients and followers for their unprecedented loyalty to our brand during these last few months.
In relation to the latest government guidance, shops and small boutiques are allowed to open from the 15th of June providing social distancing can be maintained and businesses are considered safe to open.
Whilst we are safe to open, we have made the decision to postpone opening fully until the 6th of July, and here is why...
As we have all seen on the news and social media these last few weeks, the lifting of the lockdown has been met with a very divided opinion. The fact that the UK unfortunately is still the second highest worst affected country, plus demonstrations and other mass gatherings dominating our society at present, we feel along with many others, it’s too soon to risk people’s health and lives.
We have always maintained full communication with all our existing clients and whilst most of their events have been postponed to late 2020 and throughout 2021, we are not under pressure to re open for fittings as social distancing cannot be managed. A selection of clients who have existing orders needed before July and August, we are communicating with privately to arrange the best plan of action to carry out, professionally fit and complete this work whilst maintaining our excellence in customer care.
The clients who have paid for their orders or paid deposits, or any potential future clients, their wellbeing and health is in the forefront of our minds, we refuse to put anyone at risk and their safety is paramount over any new Angel Couture sales at this moment in time. We are very fortunate unlike a lot of other businesses, with huge thanks and gratitude to our government, to be able to financially sustain the business until we feel it is safe for us to open. We understand fully the reason and personal choices of other business owners who are choosing to reopen, our decision it purely personal due to the nature of our business and the postponement of most events.
With this in mind, our designer Kay will be working from the studios from the 15th of June and encouraging clients wanting to book design appointments, to book dates from the 6th of July onwards, or another option to take advantage of the virtual design appointments via Skype or FaceTime with a free sampling service.
During these next few weeks, Kay will be continuing to work on the many existing orders from the studio and we hope to be able to carry out our professional fitting service hopefully from the 6th of July onwards depending on what happens over the coming weeks.
We encourage clients to contact Kay personally on 07507595263 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss any queries you may have regarding sales, fittings and orders where she will be on hand to offer guidance and reassurance about any of our services.
Clients wishing to visit the studios from the 6th of July onwards to look and try dresses in a face to face appointment, Kay will be working to appointment only and clients will be asked to call or email prior to the appointment to discuss styles, colours, sizes etc so that we can select styles suitable and placed in the changing room.
On arrival we ask if clients can call us on the phone before entry to the studios so Kay can come and open all doors to the main building.
Hand washing facilities are provided outside the studio rooms and clients are encouraged to bring their own protective face masks or if they are unavailable, Kay will provide Angel Couture washable face masks. Kay will be wearing a face mask during all appointments which involve fittings and close proximity work.
All dresses that are tried on will then be cleaned overnight awaiting the next appointments and our studio services will be cleaned daily to maintain cleanliness.
We ask that each client try and come to their appointments alone if possible, or have 1 additional person if needed, to be able to maintain social distancing as much as possible.
We want to thank everyone for their understanding and loyalty once again during these times and we want to offer our support and wishing the very best to all the local businesses who are re-opening next week.
Let’s all stay safe and well!
